This website offers texts and images on some arguments and fields chosen from modern Italian culture. It deals in particular with Italian literature and history of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries.
The historiographical articles mainly deal with the period of the Italian kingdom. The section “Rome Yearly Calendars 1870-1948” might be of interest for those looking for events that took place in the Capital in a specific period. See the overview here (Dutch page). And the articles offer for each year a detailed overview of what happened in Italy’s Capital.
As far as literature is concerned, the emphasis is on the first half of the 20th century. Much attention is given to poetry. Most articles are in Italian and Dutch.
